About the event
Our steam-bending voucher can be used for:
A one-day Beginners Steam-Bending Course – learn all the basics and some advanced techniques include 3 types of compression strap, and make a sculptural lampshade, vase or sculpture to take home.
OR
An online Beginners Steam Bending course– receive our unique mini steam-bending workshop kit including over 60 pieces of wood and join our two part 4.5 hour online lesson. Part one - learn all the basics of steam bending and see much of the content of the Beginners Course live from the Lake District studio, set up your own mini steam-bending workshop and bend your first pieces of wood. Part two – make your very own sculptural lampshade, vase or sculpture.
OR
Use your voucher as a deposit for our annual 3 day Professional Steam-Bending course at Charlie Whinney Studio.

If you need picking up from the Oxenholme or Grange-Over-Sands train stations, please let us know at least a week in advance if possible.
